Operation Skybridge is coming to Erdington & Stockland Green!
Op Skybridge is a team compromising of both plain clothed and uniformed officers, drawing from an extensive skill set, with specialised equipment at their disposal.
The team deploy in areas across Birmingham and support the local Neighbourhood Teams in tackling serious and acquisitive Crime that is impacting the local community. This includes Burglary, Robbery, Vehicle and Drug crime.
On Friday 14th November 2025, The Operation Skybridge Team will deploy to Erdington & Stockland Green. Working a mixture of shifts, including early mornings and throughout the night, they will provide a presence lasting several weeks, compromising of both reassurance/deterrence patrols, as well as pro-actively seeking out those intent on causing harm to the community.
What can you do? Ensure that all valuables are removed from vehicles, or hidden out of sight. Make sure that all windows & doors are locked and secure on your property. Consider installing CCTV cameras, security lights, video doorbells and alarm systems - All of which can make your property less attractive to thieves.
